This is for all who did not come home.
And those who have been there
and returned home to a country they no longer knew,
To old pals that now were afraid of you,
To wives and girlfriends that didn't understand you.
We left as kids and returned home as strangers
to our families and friends.....and to ourselves.
The lessons of Nam are still being unraveled.
Honor and Remember our Fallen
and those who served.
We did what we were asked to do.
It wasn't pretty.
We did not like it,
but that is War.....
When we heard the call
All gave some
Some gave ALL.
Welcome to my first try at building a web site. In 2006, I started trying to find several of the Medics I had served with in Vietnam. As I have had luck locating some, my search list has grown, because for each one I find they ask about someone else. There have also been disappointments in locating some. I hope that creating this site will allow all of us to help one another find that long lost friend by sharing information through the Guestbook. I will keep a list of those found and names submitted for anyone you are searching for in the Medics Locator Page section.
One of my goals for this site is to incorporate the Medics viewpoint of Vietnam. Did you feel lost or maybe overwhelmed, especially early in your tour, when you first had to make medical decisions about the treatment of your Brothers? Please, let me hear from you,
If anyone has a story or poem you would like to have added, please send them to webmaster.
